Toronto's Nia Center hosted a 2-part spray painting workshop led by the talented Philip Saunders. We learned the grid method and were tasked with painting something with shades of black to white, and blues. Of course, I went with a self-portrait, highlighting my latest trip to the beauty supply. The grid work felt synonymus to my energy, so it remained as a backdrop. My mission in this workshop was to prove to myself that I had the ability to render a realistic and well-proportioned face. I look forward to spray painting more portraits in 2025!
