I completed my first oil painted mural for Whippersnapper Gallery's exhibition "Within and Without", curated by Sarah Edo. I was instructed to keep it simple, and draw inspiration from the artworks within the exhibit. After conversations with Sarah, and many drafts, we settled on this musical choice. I used simple shapes and curved lines to honour the sculptures and their details. With colour and manipulation of the oil paint thickness, I implemented my own style and vibrance. This was my first experience with abstraction.
